Located in the heart of the world-famous Hunter Valley, Molly Morgan Wines is a boutique Lovedale winery boasting premium wines and luxury vineyard accommodation.
Nestled on the southern side of Molly Morgan Ridge in Lovedale, Hunter Valley, our vineyard is home to three self-contained boutique villas. Each villa offers breathtaking views of the Brokenback Mountain Range and 12 flourishing acres of our Shiraz, Chardonnay and Semillon vines.
Just a short stroll from our villas, the cellar door offers a relaxed and unique wine-tasting experience right in the heart of the vineyard. With one of the best outlooks amongst Hunter Valley wineries, it’s no secret that the cellar door is a must-visit for wine lovers and travelers looking to experience the best that Lovedale and the Hunter Valley have to offer.

Our historical connection to molly morgan
Molly Morgan Wines was proudly named after the local pioneer and role model, Molly Morgan - "Queen of the Hunter". As one of Australia’s first female landowners and a former convict who triumphed over hardships, Molly’s pioneering legacy continue to inspire every bottle we craft.

1963
Molly Morgan vineyard's foundation was first laid by the Roberts family, with the Semillon being the first grape variety planted in 1963.

1997
Shiraz and Chardonnay vines were planted in stages, following through to 1997.

2021
Three boutique vineyard villas were developed in the heart of our vineyard here in Lovedale, allowing guests to enjoy a unique Hunter Valley stay with alluring vineyard views.

2023
Fast forward to 2023, and enter Di and Adam Loong, the dynamic duo behind the exciting new chapter of Molly Morgan Wines. They’ve swapped sides in the wine industry game, going from aficionados to proud vineyard owners.
Di and Adam are thrilled to take the reins, bringing their extensive business experience to the wine industry. While they navigate the challenges of vineyard ownership, their tried-and-tested values promise a sip of something truly special at Molly Morgan Wines.

2024
With new owners taking the reigns, it was time for a refresh of the Molly Morgan Wines brand and a chance to bring the story of "The Queen of The Hunter Valley" to life!
The new Molly Morgan Wines logo encapsulates the spirit of Molly Morgan herself while the swirl of the logo mirrors the elegant motion of swirling your glass, a nod to the timeless art of wine tasting.

2025
The cellar door was rejuvenated and re-opened in 2025, offering guests a chance to taste our premium wines in the heart of the vineyard and learn about Molly Morgan's incredible story.
